Ha ha!!
It seems the only person I got was Dermo, but I still thought it was funny. Actually there are a couple of questions regarding the April Fools joke, should the joke be played before April 1 at 1200 or should the receipient receive the joke before April 1 at 1200?
Also, what does time zones mean for the 1200 cut off??
I dont know, it used to be so simple.

Hey there, we nearly fell for it too…well actually Katie did! Didn’t think getting laid off from the doughnut brigade was very probable, especially after all that training!
Glad to know you still have a job…

Lots of people asked if it was an April fool but bearing in mind the devastating effect loosing ones job has on people I figured you wouldn’t really joke about it. Guess I was wrong.

Thanks for the help dave I’ve sorted it now.
I’ll help you with your dilemma. A web page is an asynchronous means of communication (a telephone call would synchronous). Asynchronous is defined as: Instruction not occurring in real time; not simultaneous. Lacking a relationship to a time base or clock.
The last bit is interesting “Lacking a relationship to a time base or clock.”, I think we can take it that this means since the post no longer has and relationship to “time or clock” it is valid at anytime.
I still feel that it should be a wee bit funny but then I don’t believe there’s a rule about that. Hope Mummy and Baby are doing well!
